Overview → Review Inbox lists analytics snapshots your team has shared with you for review.

How a snapshot is made​

On a supported analytics screen (Executive Overview, Network KPIs, ER, Readmissions, Inpatient, SNF, Home Health, Cost Analytics, Wellness Visits, Risk Capture), choose Capture & share, enter a Title (required) and an optional Note, and press Capture & share. The snapshot records the screen, its filters and the date its data was current through. Recipients see it as unread in this inbox until they review it.

Working the inbox​

  1. Open Review Inbox. Unread items carry a red dot (its tooltip reads "Unread — you have not reviewed this yet").
  2. Each item shows its title, the note, who shared it and when (UTC), and "data through date".
  3. Choose Open to see the snapshot on its screen with the same filters applied. Screen-specific settings (as-of date, payment year, bucket) return to their defaults, so re-check them.
  4. Choose Mark reviewed once you have looked at it.

Things to know​

  • A snapshot records a view; it does not freeze numbers. The screen re-reads the engine when you open it, and the "data through" date tells you which data the sharer was looking at.
  • If the screen a snapshot was taken on has since been removed, the item says "screen no longer available" and its Open button is disabled ("This screen has been removed — it cannot be opened").
  • The inbox and Capture & share exist only on deployments where snapshots are switched on (a build flag); otherwise there is no menu item and no route.
  • Errors are shown with the service's status and message rather than an empty list.
