Ask kareIntelligence a question

Draft — 2026-09-26

Drafted from the screen's code on main (kareIntelligence 7455702). Not yet reviewed against a live session. Roles listed are the defaults the app's role matrix (@collabkare/ability 0.12.0) gives this screen's route; your organization's role overrides can change them.

Overview → Ask kareIntelligence answers a question in plain English using only your organization's governed analytics tools — the same metrics the screens show.

Steps

  1. Type a question about your population's metrics, cohorts, gaps or data coverage.
  2. Press Enter or the Ask button to send (Shift+Enter adds a new line). The answer arrives complete; it does not stream.
  3. Expand How this was computed on any answer to see which analytics tools supplied its figures.

Reading the answer

  • Every figure in an answer is meant to come from a governed tool. Figures that could not be verified against this turn's tool results are listed under Check these figures — treat those with caution.
  • "No analytics tools were called for this answer — nothing above is a measured figure." means the reply contains no measured numbers.
  • Partial answer means the assistant ran out of its tool-call budget before finishing; nothing was estimated to fill the gap. If some tools did not answer, the How this was computed summary says how many.
  • "That question could not be answered." is shown, with the reason, when the request fails — instead of a guess. Your question is put back in the box so you can retry.

Limits

  • One message and one conversation each have a size limit. When the conversation is full, reload the page to start a fresh thread — nothing is trimmed silently.
  • If your session has expired you will see "No active session token — sign in again before asking a question."
  • "Ask kareIntelligence is not configured here" is a deployment gap, not an outage; tell your administrator.
