TeleVisit overview

TeleVisit is CollabKare's video visit workspace for providers. It takes you through a complete telehealth encounter: see who is waiting, start the visit, talk with the patient on video, review their chart, run screening assessments, and close the visit out — all in one place.

Who uses it

TeleVisit is designed for physicians and other providers who conduct scheduled video visits. Patients join from their own waiting room, and you can invite a guest (such as an interpreter) into any visit with a one-time link — guests do not need an account.

How you get in

Launch TeleVisit from your organization's app launcher or from within your EHR session. After sign-in you land on the Provider Queue, your home screen for the day.

Main areas

  • Provider Queue — Today's scheduled visits, with live indicators showing which patients have arrived in the waiting room and how far along they are with intake (consent, questionnaire, and camera/mic test). A preview pane shows the selected patient's conditions, latest A1c, and a Pre-Visit Brief of open care gaps.
  • Visit screen — The live video call. A timer strip tracks total and face-to-face time while a side panel gives you the patient's chart, care gaps, assessments, and care plan without leaving the call. Controls cover mute, camera, screen share, pausing, and inviting a guest.
  • Assessments — Standard screening questionnaires (PHQ-9, GAD-7, PRAPARE, AUDIT-C, Morse Fall) you can complete during the visit. Submitted answers are saved to the patient's chart automatically.

A ribbon across the top of the app (Queue, Visit, Assess, and so on) shows where you are in the visit flow and lets you jump between areas for the active visit.

Typical flow

  1. Open the Queue and pick the next waiting patient.
  2. Select Start Visit to open the video room.
  3. Review the chart and care gaps in the side panel while you talk.
  4. Run any needed assessments.
  5. Select End Visit to close the encounter and return to the queue.
