Review attribution data quality

Draft — 2026-09-27

Drafted from the screen's code on main (karemanager fddd13c). Not yet reviewed against a live session. Roles listed are the defaults the app's role matrix (@collabkare/ability 0.13.0) gives this screen's route; your organization's role overrides can change them.

Check how complete provider attribution is before you rely on PCP-based lists.

Before you start

  • You need the Manager, Nurse Care Manager, or Pop Health Manager role.
  • In the left menu, go to Workflows & Admin → Attribution. The page opens as Empanelment.

Steps

  1. Read the Data quality row. Four tiles count Patients without a PCP, Inactive PCPs, Non-licensed PCPs, and Encounters without a rendering provider (finished encounters in a recent window). The caption under each tile is the server's own definition of what it counts.
  2. If a tile shows an em dash with Unavailable and a reason, the check did not run. That is not the same as zero.
  3. A +N unresolved ids line counts provider ids the server could not match. They are not in the tile's number.
  4. Click a tile to open its drill list, 50 rows a page, and use Previous / Next. Click Refresh to re-read the tiles.
  5. Below the tiles, pick a Provider to see their Panel Members. Use Attribute patient or Remove to change the panel.

Tips / Troubleshooting

  • "PCP" here means a panel attribution of type pcp, not the patient record's general practitioner that Quality Measures uses.
  • The first three tiles read panel attributions. They only count something once your organization records attributions on Panel.
  • Blank names in a drill mean the patient record could not be read. An em dash means it was read and has no name.
