Use the symptom checker

KareNavigator asks a few questions about how you're feeling and gives you clear guidance on when and where to seek care.

This is not a diagnosis

The symptom checker is an information tool, not a doctor. If you have severe chest pain, trouble breathing, sudden weakness, heavy bleeding, or any symptom that feels like an emergency, call your local emergency number right away — don't wait to finish the questions.

Before you start

  • No account is needed to run a check.
  • Have a rough idea of when your symptom started and how bad it feels.

Steps

  1. On collabkare.health, open the Explore menu and choose KareNavigator.
  2. On the welcome screen, read how it works, then click Start Assessment.
  3. Tell us about yourself — pick your age range and gender, and note any existing conditions.
  4. Select your symptoms — type a symptom into the search box (for example, "headache") or pick from the category lists, then click Next.
  5. Answer a few questions — you'll be asked how severe it is, how long you've had it, and about related symptoms. Answer each one and click Next.
  6. Get your results — you'll see a severity level, guidance on when to seek care, and the type of specialist that fits. From here you can book a suggested doctor, read the related condition article, or click Build a Care Plan.

Tips / Troubleshooting

  • If your answers point to a possible emergency, a warning appears with an option to call emergency services — take it seriously.
  • Free accounts include a monthly limit of checks; you'll see a notice if you reach it.
  • Results aren't saved unless you're signed in.
