Add a provider

Providers are the clinicians who deliver care — doctors, nurses, therapists. A provider profile carries their clinical details (specialty, qualification, registration numbers) and makes them available for scheduling and the provider directory.

Before you start

  • You need administrator access to Cloud Manager.
  • In the left menu, go to People & Access → Providers.
  • Note that your subscription plan has a provider seat cap. If you've reached it, you can buy extra seats in KareMart (see Activate apps and add-ons).

Steps

  1. On the Providers page, click the add button. The Add Provider dialog opens.
  2. Select the provider's Clinical Role from the list.
  3. Enter their name — First Name (required), Middle, Last Name (required).
  4. Enter Email (required) and Phone (required), and optionally Gender.
  5. Fill in the clinical details: Specialty, Qualification, and NPI Number (where applicable).
  6. Enter the Work Address with City, State, Postal Code, and Country.
  7. Save. The provider appears in your list immediately.

Tips / Troubleshooting

  • Click a provider to open their detail page; an edit dialog lets you update name, phone, gender, specialty, qualification, NPI, and work address.
  • If adding a provider is blocked with a message about seats, your plan's provider cap is full — buy additional seats on the KareMart → Seats tab.
  • The Credentialing page (under People & Access) tracks provider credential verification separately from the basic profile.
