Charge Master overview

The Charge Master holds your organisation's prices for patient billing. Open it from the left navigation in Cloud Manager (Charge Master, under Operations). The same setup is also in kareMD under Billing & Claims → Hospital bills → Setup — a change in either place shows in both.

Not to be confused with Plan & subscription, which is your CollabKare plan and invoices.

Tabs​

  • Professional fee schedule — physician services by CPT code (visits, consults, procedures). See Set up fee schedules.
  • Facility fee schedule — hospital charges: room and ICU days, operating theatre time, consumables, imaging technical fees. Use a CPT code or your own code such as ROOM-ICU.
  • Packages — fixed-price packages with what they include. See Set up packages.
  • Billing settings — line-item or package billing, and self-approval for solo practices. See Billing settings.

All prices are in Indian rupees with a GST rate per item (0% by default — most clinical services are GST-exempt).

Who can change it​

Admin and data-manager roles in Cloud Manager, and kareMD charge reviewers (Program Administrator, Clinical Director, Physician Advisor). Read-only roles can view it.
