Set up professional and facility fee schedules

Professional fees​

  1. Open Charge Master → Professional fee schedule.
  2. Enter the CPT code (for example 99232), a title, the price in rupees and the GST rate.
  3. Click Save. Saving the same code again updates it.

Facility fees​

  1. Open Charge Master → Facility fee schedule.
  2. Enter a code — a CPT code, or your own code of letters, digits and hyphens such as ROOM-ICU or OT-HOUR.
  3. Enter the title, price, GST rate and department (for example ICU or Radiology).
  4. Choose the unit: each, per day or per hour.
  5. For a room or bed-day rate (per day), fill in Room charge for with the unit codes or service lines it applies to — for example MICU or icu. A unit code wins over a service line. Room days are then charged automatically from each patient's bed history.
  6. Click Save.

Edit or retire​

Click Edit on a row to load it into the form, change it and save. Click Retire to stop using a fee; bills already issued keep their prices.

Tips​

  • An item with no price blocks the hospital bill until you add it here.
  • If a CPT code is in only one schedule, a charge from the other side uses that price.
