Approve or reject a patient registration

Review self-registered patient accounts before they are activated on the platform. The queue works the same way as the organization queue, with patient-specific details.

Before you start

  • Sign in to the admin console with CollabKare staff access.
  • Go to Provisioning → Patient Requests. The page is titled Patient Registration Requests.
  • Use the All Requests / Pending Approval tabs to filter, and Refresh to reload.

Steps

  1. Find the request in the table — columns show Patient, Phone, Location, Status, and Submitted.
  2. Click Review to open the request's detail page, or expand the row for a quick summary of the registration details.
  3. Verify the patient's identity details and contact information.
  4. Decide:
    • Approve — from the detail page or the row's action menu (⋮), choose the approve action and confirm with Approve. The account setup runs immediately and the status moves through the provisioning steps.
    • Reject — choose Reject, enter the Reason (required — it is emailed to the applicant), and confirm with Reject. No account is created and any stored password is scrubbed.

Tips / Troubleshooting

  • Only requests in Pending Approval status can be approved or rejected. Requests that already ran show retry/abort options instead — see Monitor provisioning activity.
  • Free-tier patient sign-ups may be activated automatically by the platform; they still appear in this queue for after-the-fact review.
